Happy Hump Day!
Today I'm excited to say I have completed my January 2016 month in my scrapbook. I'm sharing with you my favorite layouts that I haven't yet posted, and a video (that was actually edited!).
I love this sweet little snow baby on a sled photo I took of my angel. I used the Mambi Black & White with trendy graphics paper pad to create this fringed layout.
A close up of my snow angel
This is the title page & reiterates our theme of #brothers during the year. This will be my boys first full year of being brothers, and I anticipate lots of sweet photos together!
I had the idea from a Scrap Gals podcast to use different sized page protectors in my 12x12 album, and it was a game changer! It has become and easy way to incorporate my random phone photos. I made this pocket card with my Cricut using Avett Brothers lyrics.
A fun 12x12 pocket page - we had lots of snow this year!
Another small pocket page within my album. I had a lot of fun creating these heavily embellished cards and a shaker pocket.
I also had fun with this chipboard element, and adding it into my album with a corresponding pocket page.
You can see all of these pages & more in the video below! Please give me a thumbs up if you like it. The hubby is helping me post better videos because he is sweet like that.

Snow Smiles - a Let's Get Sketchy layout
Hope you're ready for a snowy day!
Today I'm bringing you a snowy layout I created with a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.
I'm working on finishing up the month of January so I can do a YouTube flip through. Slowly, but surely - I'm just glad to be on 2016!
Here's the original sketch:
And a couple of close ups... I'm not huge in the mixed media, but I tried some here. Reminded me why I'm not huge in it - because I'm impatient and I don't like waiting for it to dry! Haha!
Supplies:
Paper - Crate Paper
Wood alphas - Studio Calico
Stencil - Hampton Art
Thickers - American Crafts
staples - We R Memory Keepers

Thank You a Latte - A Happy Mail Flip book
Good Monday, everyone!
Today I'm bringing you a Happy Mail flip book I made for a sweet lady, Jodi. She is part of a Happy Mail group with me on Facebook, and she previously sent me a GORGEOUS flip book as the first happy mail I received in the group.
I made this fall themed coffee book to thank her!
I've really been in a fall mood, and I wanted to make a coffee themed happy mail. Jodi didn't have very many dislikes on her profile, so I really hope she liked it! I'm obsessed with sequins & shaker pockets at the moment, so I had to include one.
I made own envelope in which I put some cork stickers I made. I knew I wanted to sew on the book, because I don't have adhesive strong enough to hold pockets. So I sewed, but I didn't plan for room for taping the book together. So, I made my own orange hole protectors and just punched holes to be tied together with jute and ribbon. I really like how it turned out.
You can see the other side of the shaker pocket here. And the "cup o' Jodi" saying just hit me while I was making the book. Haha! I just had to, it was too perfect. I filled the pocket with some die cuts, a gold photo overlay, a wood grain title, etc. Jodi is a photographer, so I included the little camera clip.
On this page, I used a coffee filter to make a rosette. I put another cork sticker here with a latte die and a little shaker pocket. I also made another pocket to hold some chipboard and a coffee pack. That perky cup was a free cut file, I think from SCT magazine, and it was just perfect!
On the back, I just included a little note in a flip style. I stamped on it and put a sparkle sticker. It could be reused in a pocket page.
I hope that Jodi enjoyed the book I made for her as much as I enjoyed the one she made for me! I had a lot of fun making it. It didn't curb my passion for creating fall things - only encouraged it! :)

Traveler's Notebook flip through - beach vacay
Happy Friday, everyone!
Just a quick post today to bring you a YouTube video I made flipping through a quick traveler's notebook I completed about our beach trip this past weekend.
I like to get all the memories into a TN while they're still fresh, as it will likely take me some time before I can actually scrap all the good vacation photos I took on my normal camera. I just packed a couple little bags of supplies and took my TN with me. I worked on it some in the condo, but mostly in the car on the way home! I'm really happy I have already finished it. Hope you enjoy the video!

Looking & Smiling - our photo motto
Hello everyone, today I'm bringing you some inspiration for the next-to-last Sizzlin' Summer sketch from Scrapbook Challenges. I think this may have been my favorite sketch!
Here is the original sketch:
These little photos are outtakes from many I had to take to get a good one - which turned out to be a really good one. So I used the best on a traditional layout for a complete, double page spread - (whhha?!).
My oldest son learned very young that you don't argue with mommy when she points a camera at you. The quicker you smile, the quicker you can get on with your life! He also thinks he has the responsibility of making the younger son smile, so it's quite difficult to get them both looking and smiling at the same time! This was a rare photo at the time, since Lachlan was so young and had just started really smiling - but boy do those smiles melt a heart...
I cut a giant ampersand to mirror the ampersand paper I used on the opposite page. I also cut the circles from the corresponding paper used on the opposite page.
and, of course - sequins.
I really ended up loving this fun color palette!
Supplies:
Crate Paper - Dear Lizzy Documenter paper
Cardstock - The Paper Studio
Washi tape - Amy tangerine
Alphas - Studio Calico
I hope you played along with Scrapbook Challenges' Sizzlin' Summer this month. It really helped me get lots of great pages completed.

Happy Mail - My first FLIP BOOK!
Happy hump day, everyone!
Today, I'm bringing you the first happy mail I have made for my friend Cheryl!
I had a lot of fun making this happy mail, and I also learned a few things!
I will attempt sewing on my next book to keep the pockets together better.
I know some of the supplies included seem random, but they fit with projects Cheryl is currently working on, so hopefully she felt that when she received it! :)
Current obsession: Shaker pockets - I think we all know this about now. I got a big pack of this transparency paper. I'm taking suggestions of how to use it! :)
I'm also really feeling this cork paper right now!
I have also posted a very bad quality video of a flip through this book on my YouTube channel at Natalie Dill. I am also open to suggestions on how to get the quality up, as I am frustrated because I was using my DSLR on this one! I think it's an SD card issue, and I intend to acquire an HD video card and see if that helps.

Prom - a SBC Sizzlin Summer sketch
Happy Hump Day, all!
Today we have another sketch from Sizzlin' Summer over at Scrapbook Challenges.
Here is the original sketch:
I created this page of old high school photos for a special project for a special friend recently. Man, I loved that dress!
I loved the chance to go super girly on a page, as I don't get to do that too often living with lots of boys, as I do. (Fun fact, I married my Senior Prom date! <3) I really love this little fringe banner I made on my Cricut.
Supplies:
Patterned Paper - Crate Paper, Dear Lizzy Documenter
Alphas - Heidi Grace
Pink clear flowers - Heidi Swapp
Thanks for looking - lots more fun sketches coming up during the rest of the month. Please join us!

Happy happy mail! - my first YOUTUBE post!
Happy day everyone!
I'm bringing to you today a couple of pocket letters I have created recently, as well as my very first YouTube video (at least in the crafting realm).
I created this PL for the Felicity Jane paper swap. I was so blessed to be able to be paired with the sweetest partner. I videoed the things she sent me and they are so amazing. Hopefully will post that video soon!
Leah, my partner, told me she really likes the FJ kit feels, pastels with black and white, so I tried to stick with that theme.
She also stated she likes wood veneer, so I included some cuties.
I put some extras in the back, because I didn't want them to mar the front.
This is the PL for which I created my first papercrafting YouTube video. You can find it here:
Gimme some thumbs up if you like it, please!
I also recently joined the Hey Nae happy mail group on Facebook, and I'm thrilled I did so. The ladies in that group are generous, kind and so so talented! I get inspiration from them every day, as well as I have received beautiful mail already!
I created this PL for a woman in the group I had recognized from interactions on Instagram, and I think she really liked it.
The unicorn was a free cut file on cricut the week I made this mail, and she loved it because she is from Scotland, and said that is Scotland's national animal. What a coinkydink!
I'm loving creating this happy mail, and it will be a new part of my creative outlet! I get lots of inspiration for these pretty PLs from videos at Hey Nae and Call Me Crafty Al on their YouTube channels!
