Oh So Jolly with Lasting Memories

Happy Sunday, friends!

Today is the last monthly prompt over at Lasting Memories "This or That" challenge & the idea is to use at least two different alphas on your page.

I love this challenge, as it's something I do quite often. I'm still telling my December stories, so today's page is about my little one stealing the show (at least in my eyes) at his Christmas school program!

I used a vellum envelope to slide in the program for the Christmas show. Then I did the title and journaling over the top. I used some of my favorite Christmas stamps to embellish, along side stickers.

You can see more detail shots on the gram. I hope you'll play along with us at Lasting Memories this week!

Christmas Cookies

I'm still plugging away at those Christmas layouts! Today I'm using a prompt from Lasting Memories to use more than one photo on a layout.

I sewed a grid design in red thread and embellished with mostly Pebbles dies and stickers to tell the story of our Christmas cookie making this year.

That stamp is one of my favorite hand-lettered sentiments from Ink Road.

I've been wanting to try a grid design, and I'm super happy with how it turned out!

These were cookies "for Santa" because you know they ate most of them! SO. MANY. SPRINKLES! Fun Christmas memories were had.

I hope you'll play along with this week's Lasting Memories challenge to use multiple photos on your page! There's lots of great inspiration on the blog. Thanks for looking!

Shine so Merry & Bright with Momenta

Happy Hump Day!

I'm still working on some of my favorite Christmas photos from 2018, and I had to tell this story about how sweet my youngest son can be. The Momenta Christmas mixed media stickers were perfect to compliment my Christmas story!

I used red thread to sew around the green border, and green fruit packaging to bring a pop of green behind the photo! LOL Whatever works, huh?

How about these new skinny alphas?! I adore them! They're already in stores now.

I cut this Merry & Bright wreath out of two different papers to achieve this two-toned look & I love it! The wreaths alone did double duty as part of my photo background as well. Dissecting dies is a good way to get more mileage out of them!

This wooden Joy sticker from the Christmas set was complimented well with the wooden stars with gold accents.

I typed my story in red to compliment the page, and I love the look! Sprinkled some more wooden stars to tie the top of the page to the bottom.

I cannot wait to see what Momenta new products are coming in this new year, but what I've seen so far is so FAB!

Show me your S'more's face!

Today there is a new challenge over at Lasting Memories! The This or That prompt today is to use trims on your page. You can choose from paper strips, washi tape, ribbon, lace or anything you'd consider a trim!

I chose washi to compliment this page about my boys and me and our favorite camping pasttime!

I used my new letter dies from Momenta and I LOVE them! I added my sparkle to the rustic look, of course, with my foam thickers from Dear Lizzy.

The gold foil accents on the washi also put the sparkle in my rustic sparkle! For added interest, I used texture paste through a wood grain stencil in random spots on the page.

I just had to fit in this Echo Park 3x4 card!

I felt like handwritten journaling added to the rustic look of my page. We just bought a little camper, so I see lots of S'mores nights in our future this summer!

I love to tear the washi for some texture and rugged looks on my distressed pages. It's probably my favorite way to use washi.

I hope you'll play along with this week's challenge at Lasting Memories!

Cacti love with Momenta

Happy New Year!

I'm sharing a fun pocket page today from our 10th anniversary trip to Arizona using some of the cutest little Southwestern products from Momenta.

I am using Kraft paper on every page in this album, so I accented the non-photo pages with the watercolor paper pad from Momenta.

I used my gold marquee Momenta letters for the state abbreviation.

Stretch those dies! This half wreath is from the hello wreath die, and I just cut the word hello out to use it as a layering piece.

This "you are my sunshine" sentiment was perfect to document this gorgeous, sunny day with  my soul mate.

Those are the Red Rocks of Sedona in the background. We only spent a day there, but we will definitely be back! It is a truly amazing place. I loved everywhere we went in Arizona.

Momenta has some SUPER cute new products released! Go check them out!
