I made these quickest of quick little layouts in my traveler's notebook from Rock Your Notebook. I hope you'll be inspired to jot down your everyday moments and little stories. Go grab your favorite size, handmade notebook from Beth's store to get started!
A few pocket cards, some washi a stamp and a pen is all these quick layouts took to create!
I'm over on the Wild Whisper blog again today as Guest Designer for the month of April! I am loving their new Fur Babies collection. You can read all about the page I made for my sweet little morkie, Lola on their blog and see detail photos!
How fun are these bright colors?! LOOOOOVE it! Go check them out!
I just want to do a quick pop over here to say I've joined the Rock Your Notebook design team, and I am so excited! The owner, Beth, is a super sweet person who makes great personalized notebooks. You can order a huge variety of sizes with so many great paper options.
The design team I'll be working with is so talented and wonderful. I love seeing their inspiration.
Here's the amazing supplies I received in my first order: A mixed media black and white notebook, a dashboard, a craft mat and a beautiful standard size TN with Rhodia dot grid paper.
I cannot wait to delve into these goodies. We are int he process of moving, and most of my craft supplies are currently in boxes which is quite heartbreaking. However, the beauty of travelers notebooks, and what first drew me to them is the portability! I will definitely be crafting while my supplies are boxed up!
Go check out the blog, and stay tuned for plenty of upcoming fun this month!
Today is the start of a new month, so 4 new challenges are coming your way from Lasting Memories challenges! This month is all about Paper - our real true love.
Today's challenge is to use a new paper technique on your layout. I LOVE this idea!
I have been wanting to try folded quilting circles for a while, so this was a great challenge to do that. I found a fun 6x6 paper pad with double sided designs for our beachy photo and folded my circles into diamonds!
I used watercolor crayons on the background paper, so it shimmers like a mermaid.
I filled in gaps between diamonds with some circles - not folded and accented with these cute puffy stickers!
Take me back to that day on the beach, please! haha
I cut this anchor with my Big Shot & used some Thickers for a simple title. I didn't want to distract from the super busy background going on with a long title.
I had so much fun making this page with a paper technique I've been meaning to try for a while. It was a great way to add interest to my page, and I will definitely be trying it again. It was fairly easy!
I hope you will go play along with Lasting Memories this month! I can't wait to see what you create.
