Go & Be Crafty

Hello dear friends!

Today I'm over on the Ink Road Stamps blog with some of my fellow crafters for Feature Friday! Today we are featuring the Beautiful Mess stamp set. I LOVE this set, y'all! The handlettering is fab, the sentiments get me, and we already know I can't get enough of those little leaves on my projects.

I thought this stamp set would be perfection in documenting the Scrap Gals Retreat I attended last month in Nashville. I grabbed a Felicity Jane kit we were given at the event, a go-to design from the class by Crafty Jen Schow, and worked my Beautiful Mess stamps!

I fussy cut some of the crafty sentiments from the set on different toned solid paper, along with some of the crafty tools.

I did a DIY journal card behind the photo of the Scrap Gals & journaled about how important they are to me. I appreciate all the work they do in creating the podcast and cultivating a positive, crafty community. Listening to their podcast has really changed the way I think about this long-time hobby and passion.

It was so fun to go to this event and hang with these ladies and so many others that just get it. We had the best little table of sweet woman to work with and everyone was so kind & loving & TALENTED! Man, the ladies of the Scrap Gal following have definitely got loads of talent in their craft.

Tiffany taught us all a very wonderful selfies class, so I'm hoping this page is "cuteness approved." LOL!

Of course I had to fussy cut some florals for this page, to pay true tribute to the SGs.

I popped up some black sequins to bring the page together with embellishments.

Pop on over to the IRS blog to see what my fellow Design Team geniuses created using this stamp set - it's so versatile!

Thanks for looking!
