Fri-yay!
It's been a long week!
I hope you're planning for a fun weekend. I have a new layout to share today, which was created with another lovely Laura sketch from Stuck?! sketches.
I'm trying to finish up some albums, and these three little random photos were already printed from 2016. I rarely documented everyday life beyond pocket pages at that time, something I now do in my monthly TN, so I used this awesome 3 photo sketch to gitrdone.
Here's the original sketch:
I had this hoarded Basic Grey paper pad on my desk, and pulled out a hoarded Bo Bunny ephemera pack & figured they went together pretty well. I really need to work my way through some of these supplies to make room for more!
These awesome cork alphas came from a fun prize from my friends at Paper Issues & paired well with these Studio Calico wood alphas.
Heath was very into making "food" at this time, so the cafe ephemera was perfect. I also used some bits from Shimelle for the bottom piece of ephemera.
True confessions, I had made this little pocket for a pocket page, but then decided it did not go with my color scheme of that page. So I used it here! It helps keep the one photo up more, true to the sketch, and has fun interest.
Lola was particularly fluffy in this photo!
Lachlan was starting to get fun, playful & more alert at this point. Just ignore that pile of laundry in the chair - this is real life, y'all!
Supplies:
Patterned paper - Basic Grey all boy
Cork alpha - American Crafts thickers
wood alphas - Studio Calico
ephemera - Bo Bunny & Shimelle
Stars - Studio Calico
Thanks for looking!
Great layout, love the way the primary colours pop off of the neutral background! Thanks for joining us at Stuck?! Sketches!
