Floral Travel with Momenta

I'm here today with a fun Momenta layout that completed my summer vacation album from last year!!

I worked my die cut machine in one of my favorite color schemes to create this page of me and my boys.

I just cut a few patterned papers in a couple different florals and sewed them onto my page. Love these jewel toned papers from Momenta. They're perfect for the rustic part of my #rusticsparkle.

This awesome mixed media sticker fit the theme well too, adn I added a glitter strip below it to tie in with the glitter florals.

Yay! That makes me happy.

A completed album before we head to our next family vacay is also something that makes me happy!

You can find a flip through of the entire album on my YouTube channel today!

Thanks for looking, friends!

My Love with Momenta

Valentine's Day is almost here, friends!

Today I'm bringing another fun page using Momenta products to document our 10th anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon.

I used these awesome nested rectangle dies to cute different sizes from this gorgeous paper pad.

I used Heidi Swapp gold shine for splatters to compliment the golf foil accents on the Moment wood veneer stickers and the gold glitter sentiment stickers.

I used a poem from one of my favorites, Attticus. The glitter words formed part of the poem perfectly!

This paper pad has some really great spring florals! I cannot wait to use it again.

Road Trip Tip - a Lasting Memories page

Hey friends! Today a new challenge theme begins at Lasting Memories - Transportation!

Here is my page about cars - it's my boys on a recent road trip.

My road trip tip is to stop for bathroom breaks at donut stores! Two birds with one stone - you get to use the bathroom and you get to eat a donut on vacation!

I also happened to be driving and glance down when I hit the big 88888!

They look like good donuts to me!

I hope you will come play along with us at  Lasting Memories this month!

Believe in Mermaids - a Momenta page

Hey friends! I've got a new, summery page for you today, inspired by the lovely products by Momenta.

I wanted this selfie to be super beachy, so I used tinted glitter paste for waves atop the Momenta watercolor cardstock.

These Spiegel Mom Scraps sequins were perfect for my beachy theme.

I tinted half of this Momenta wood veneer sticker with a pink gelato to compliment the rest of the title I cut with the alpha die from Momenta.

I added glitter paste to the tails of the little mermaid beauties because we all know mermaids sparkle!

I die cut a few other sea creatures from glitter cardstock as homemade embellishments.

Momenta has so many nautical and tropical themed products for your summer scrapbooks!

Aren't these puffy stickers the cutest?! Go grab some of these great products for your beach themed layouts. The dies are so versatile with endless page possibilities.

Cool Pool Dude - a SID sketch

It's Fri-YAY!

I hope you are planning a relaxing, Father-lovin' weekend.

I'm bringing you another cruise vacation layout today using an awesome sketch from the wonderful Stick It Down blog.

Here is the original sketch:

I had so much fun with this!

I loved how the paper seemed to fade on the original sketch, so I tried to recreate that a bit.]

I gessoed my patterned white paper in a faded way and placed a transparency over the gessoed portion. Then I used gesso again along the seam and used HS Metallic Texture paste with a triangle pattern (to match the boy's bathing suit). I love how it turned out!

I've been working on remembering my pop dots lately!

I also used this fab mood board from my Paper Issues friends:

I just loved how BRIGHT it is, so I totally went with it with this pink/orange paper I've been hoarding for years. I was also influence by the popsicles, our current family obsession!

He is such a cool pool dude! :)

and we for sure had

Pina Colada Paradise

Hello, friends!

I hope you're having a beautiful, LONG weekend!

Today, I'm here with a new challenge for you over at Lasting Memories - to use fruits or vegetables on your layout.

Obvs this was a no-brainer for me. I have pineapples on the brain, lately, what with all the tropical vacation photos... here is my fruity layout:

I combined the My Mind's Eye Palms Springs collection with CraftSmith co's Bahama Mama paper pad.

Those little gold pineapples are just too cute!

I did some lemonade embossing powder on those chipboard squares to pop up the background layers some.

I hope you will play along with the challenge this week!

Mermaid for each other - a challenge YOUrself page

It's FriYAY, y'all!

Today I'm bringing you another fun cruise layout which was inspired by this month's challenge over at Challenge YOUrself.

The challenge was to use their fun mood board to inspire your page, and as usual, use a photo that includes YOURSELF!  Here is the mood board:

I used the blue/turquoise especially, but also the allover beachy feel. Mermaids live in oceans, AIR?!

So this page was basically a happy accident. I had used some white cardstock to cut some palm leaves, and the scrap was laying there when I was deciding where to start with this page. I decided I liked the look the negatives of the diecuts left and used the scrap!

Concentrated HS shine dots are always super fun, so I picked my beachy, bright colors and went to town in a rectangle to border my photo.

I used 6x6 papers and scraps to layer a photo background, and popped some of the layers up with foam dots.

I've been dying to use a quote with mermaid in it. I created this little title on my Cricut with a free font & I love how it turned out!

I embellished with a few stickers, puffy stickers, gold foil accents, and enamel dots. I'm really turning out these cruise pages & loving it! <3 p="">
Supplies:
Aqua paper, blue pineapple paper, flamingos - CraftSmith Bahama Mama
Yellow pineapples, pink tag, all stickers - My Mind's Eye Palm Springs
Turquoise alphas - Webster's Pages
Splatters - Heidi Swapp Shine

Ice Cream Dreams - a Paper Issues challenge

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been a little sporadic, but vacation will do that to ya.

We took a cruise last week, and I'm so excited to scrap the photos! Obviously the first scrapped photos ended up involving ice cream. My son resolved to eat ice cream every day, and I do believe he succeeded - with multiple cones some days!

I participated in ScrapLift Sunday with my buds at Paper Issues for this layout. Here is the original layout we all scraplifted:

Such a fun and unique sketch/layout! I really enjoyed creating my own version.

I chose bright, summery colors for my papers, but loved the bright white of the alphas. When in need, 3s become Es!

I picked up these little food flairs in the $1.50 bin at Michael's because I knew we'd eat a lot on the cruise! haha! I also got these little fuzzy pom poms in "ice cream" colors - they're so perfect! I used them with sequins and these little glitter dots as "sprinkles" on my page!

These sweet stickers are from a Studio Calico sheet I've been hoarding, and obvously I will NEVER run out of uses for these Pink Paislee papers from the Citrus Bliss collection.

The ice cream ephemera is a pebbles chip piece.

I used some foam dots to pop up the middle, my favorite, photo, as well as the circle glitter frame I cut from my cricut.

I had so much fun creating this layout! I cannot wait to do more from our vacation.

Meet Mickey!

Hey hey hey!

I'm bringing another layout with mostly Simple Stories today! I first used this brand with the Say Cheese line. And we all know that scrapping Disney is my favorite type of scrapping, so of course I love it! You can search Disney and probably 90% of my blog layouts about Disney use this collection!

I loved creating this page! I just combined a bunch of bits and pieces to make it interesting.

I had created this little Mickey banner in my Cricut projects the last time I scrapped a Disney album, and was glad it came in useful again.

I loved these little frames from the Say Cheese collection, but I don't typically print photos small enough to fit inside, so I used them to layer!

I seem to be into fussy cutting lately - I fussy cut these balloons, and used (almost) the last of my sticker sheet from this collection.

These washi sheets from the collection are super fun. I've been using them a ton, especially in my pocket pages. They were great for filling in small spaces on this page.

Mickye had quite a time keeping up with this moving baby, so Heath was trying to help out! haha! Photopass/Magic Memory maker is so perfect for those with small children because you can focus on the children's experience with the character and not trying to get them to look at a camera and take a photo simultaneously.

I also did some pocket pages with this collection from our first day in Epcot.

There was a funny story to go with the top, large photo, so I created a tab on a second pocket card, which is easy to remove and read the journaling.

We had so much fun traveling around the world in Epcot, so  had to document what we did in each location - like having dessert in Germany & buying light up ears in the UK!

The stamped card is a mix of stamps from Echo Park, Studio Calico & the Target dollar spot!

Here's the backside of this page, more around Epcot at Christmas!

Those little boys were so exhausted from our busy day, the fireworks couldn't even wake them!

I just love scrapbooking Disneyworld, and I have about 5 more days left from our Christmas trip, so I have to get my hands on the new Say Cheese 3 collection to finish me out!
