Story of Love with Momenta

Hey friends!

Today I have a new 6x8 page created for Momenta. I used this Kaisercraft Rosabella collection with the gorgeous Momenta dies to create this page about us at the Biltmore.

I used the pink background paper from the Momenta 8.5x11 floral paper pad. I cut the floral border with my new, Momenta floral border die.

I embossed the patterned paper butterflies and cut a simple white base for each. Then I used hand embroidery to combine the two. I glued down only the base, so the butterflies can flap!

These adorable mixed media embellishments were perfect for our lovey adventure.

I hope you're feeling inspired to scrap today! Head over to Momenta for some great products, and watch my Instagram for a little something special later this week!

You are the Sky

Happy Sunday!

I'm here today with another layout inspired by a fabulous promp at Lasting Memories. Today's prompt is to scrapbook about the sky.

I used the Friday Freebie from The Cut Shoppe for these adorable frames with clothespins. I also used one of my favorite outdoor collections from Wild Whisper.

I had these photos of us jumping into the sky in front of the mountains in Cades Cove, so I found this fab quote by Pema Chodron to use as my title.

I used distress oxide inks to blend my ombre effect then cut sky on my Cricut. I also used the oxide inks to color the white Thickers to match.

I wonder if Amy Tan has ever done one of her jumpy photos while holding another human....

Some embellishments from the new Pinkfrest Studio Out & About line worked great with this WW paper.

Thanks for looking & I hope you'll play along with us at Lasting Memories! There is a prize up for grabs this month. Have a happy day!

Under the Sea with Momenta

Happy Hump Day, friends!

I'm here with another fun, Momenta layout today.

I just adore this hombre paper from the peony paper pad, and it perfectly matched this aquarium photo from our recent trip to Gatlinburg.

I cut diagonal strips and individually sewed them to a background paper, an idea I borrowed from Steffi Ried over off instagram.

Then I used these adorable, sparkly, puffy sea creature stickers to embellish the page.

This silhouetted photo was one of my favorites from the entire trip, so it had to get it's entire, own page!

Best "FINS" forever, get it!? LOL! I just know these kids will always be buds. I used the Momenta mermaid scale die for the texture background behind the photo, as well. Dory and Nemo had to embellish near the title, well really I guess that would be Marlin, since he's the friend with Dory, huh? Hmmm, I digress.....

Seriously, make sure to grab these shimmery little beauties for your summer pool photos, or all kinds of other summer crafts!

Thanks for looking!!

Life behind bars

Hey y'all!

I used the awesome sketch challenge in the A Cherry on Top gallery this month to create this fun, boy, jeep page.

Here's the original sketch:

I used torn paper windows instead of tags.

I had cut these "chicken wire" bits on my cricut ages ago, and this page seemed perfect to finally use them.

I added texture with some ranger texture paste, my new fave polka dot stencil and some black watercolor.

These Heidi Swapp chipboard stickers from my stash were perfect for this boyish page. Love these Kaisercraft papers too, they're textured and fab!

Hope you'll play along with this sketch challenge in the Cherry gallery!
