I chose the Speckled Egg distress oxide stamp pad and I accented my page with yellow lemons. The yellow is a lovely compliment to the speckled egg color.
I stamped the lemons from a stash stamp and from the Catherine Pooler Sweet Life stamp set. I also fussy cut lemons from a Dear Lizzy paper.
I swiped my Distress Oxide Speckled Egg in three large stripes across a gessoed white cardstock. I then placed some ink on a glass mat with water to utilize it as liquid splatters across the three stripes.
I utilized the Tim Holtz Crochet dies for white and patterned paper sewn across each inked stripe.
I also die cut foliage from the Tim Holtz Garden Greens Sixxix dies in white and a patch of cardstock colored with the speckled egg ink.
Definitely grab some speckled egg for your ink collection - it's a great color!
